I really like the personal profile that you shared on the blog page. The community you build is so interesting. It allowed different ages, and different professional people to join. I really love this diversity. I definitely agree that collaboration will create efficiency in work. And I like the space you give to each user to share their own opinions. I was just wondering if will there be any seminar for people to listen to or lessons to learn about the newest updates in the technology. Or do you believe that people could just learn from each other’s posts, and there is no need to open a class? Also, my OC is also an information-based community, i also believe self-regulation is really important in our community.

ReplyDeleteVery well written! I totally do agree with you on having a such place that's a little private with people that have the same interests to discuss and share their ideas. It actually reminds me of some currently existing platforms that focus on facilitating people finding groups that have the same interests for better communications. Platforms like Zhihu( a Chinese communication platform created by its users) and Reddit, but are lacking your idea with their privateness of it. But overall, very interesting idea!

I love your idea and I think the world overall could benefit from a learning space regarding technology and ethics - so often we rely on devices to carry their own morality when it is in the hands of the human who can choose to be ethical in their usage of technological tools. I think self regulation is a great idea, but I wonder if it would be helpful to provide structure to users who might not feel as empowered to share, since tech and tech research is a pretty diverse yet segregated space. We still see more male leadership in tech spaces and I think it would be helpful to add support features for others who might not fit into that category!
